Every question is always welcome, and I’m happy to walk you through anything at all. That said, I know it can be helpful to have a quick, easy-to-find summary, so I’ve gathered some frequently asked questions here for you.

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
You don’t need any experience at all! Most people feel a little nervous at first, and that’s completely normal. I’ll guide you through everything, from where to stand to what to do with your hands, and we’ll keep things easy + natural the whole time. Just show up, and be yourself. The goal is for you to feel comfortable and have fun, and the rest will fall perfectly into place!
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Travel expenses are included if your shoot takes place in my 25km service radius for lifestyle shoots, and 65km radius for any wedding packages. Additional travel fees over the radius are $0.60 per km round trip. When booking we will go over exact locations to help figure out if these fees apply!
Can you recommend any locations?
Absolutely! I spend a lot of time hunting locations that fit my exact style and vibe, so your photos reflect the same look and feel as my portfolio, including securing permits at some truly stunning spots. I’m also happy to hear any location ideas you have so we can find the perfect spot that matches your vision and desired vibe.
DO you cover all permit costs + studio fees?
Unfortunately, I don’t. To keep my pricing accessible, some permit and studio fees are the client’s responsibility. That said, I’m more than happy to handle all the coordination for you and include any fees in your final quote so it’s seamless for any that aren’t included. Any permits I already have in place (certain studios + yearly pre-paid permits for certain locations) are covered by me and won’t be added to your shoot cost.
what should i wear to my session?

what if the weather is bad during my outdoor shoot?
I’ll always keep an eye on the forecast and prioritize safety and comfort. If the weather is dangerously cold, stormy, or otherwise unsafe, we’ll happily reschedule. For overcast or gloomy days, don’t worry! These conditions can actually be amazing for photos, creating soft, flattering light and a moody, beautiful atmosphere. While I can’t guarantee sunshine, I’ll work with whatever weather we get to make sure your images are stunning.
how long will it take to deliver my gallery?
For lifestyle sessions, galleries are typically delivered within about 2 weeks, and wedding collections usually take around 8 weeks. Exact delivery timelines will always be specified and followed in your contract, especially if we’re in a busier season or your collection is larger. I’ll always keep you updated if anything changes, so you know exactly when to expect your images.
i prefer to keep my galleries private. is that okay?
Absolutely! I get this question a lot. I completely understand, and your comfort is always my priority. While I do sometimes feature sessions on my social media, it’s only ever with your permission. My contracts include a questionnaire where you can share all your preferences and boundaries, and every choice you make is fully respected and supported. At the end of the day, I’m here to capture and preserve these moments for you! Your gallery is yours, and I’m always happy to honour that.
